JSC "Minsk Tractor Works" (MTZ) plans to launch serial production of BELARUS 5425 tractors in 2027. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Republic of Belarus (RB).
The full cycle of creating a new BELARUS 5425 tractor with a capacity of more than 500 hp was demonstrated to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Turchin.
At the moment, the plant is preparing to release the second tractor of this model after the successful launch of the first. It is planned to complete the assembly of five tractors by the end of May.
The company also wants to increase the production of flagship tractors BELARUS 3522. It is planned to produce over 90 units of machines monthly as early as January 2026.
BELARUS 5425 is a class 8 tractor with a 4x4 wheel formula and a powerful Weichai WP14Т engine (power 542 hp). The tractor received a hydromechanical stepped gearbox, including 18 forward and 6 reverse gears with electro-hydraulic control. This design solution allows you to switch gears without interrupting the power flow.
Earlier www1.ru reported that MTZ increased the production of BELARUS-3522 tractors by 30% in 11 months of 2025.
