JSC "LOMO" (part of the Kalashnikov Concern) has completed the zero cycle of construction of a modern mechanical assembly building – a key object of the enterprise's large-scale modernization. As reported by the company's press service, in the first quarter of 2026, contractors fully prepared the foundation, moved engineering networks out of the development area, and are already installing metal structures for the first section of the frame.
549 piles have been driven into the foundation of the future five-story building with an area of almost 19 thousand square meters, and 105 reinforced concrete grillage foundations for columns have been concreted. Every day, 126 people and 33 units of equipment work on the site. Simultaneously, the construction of a single-story warehouse for fuels and lubricants has begun.
The new building will house advanced mechanical assembly production with high-precision and robotic equipment. It is expected that the volume of special product output here will increase two to three times. This is the first stage of LOMO's long-term reconstruction: plans also include updating the machine park and overhauling existing buildings with the replacement of engineering systems.
