Russian President Vladimir Putin inspected the Russian fixed-wing drone "Aist" for the delivery of medicines. The development by "Drone Solutions" is also equipped with a module for telemedicine consultations.
Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko stated that the "Aist" UAS can perform the following tasks:
- monitoring
- cargo delivery
- communication provision
- signal relay
The drone is equipped with a special thermal container in which medical products, biomaterials, donor blood, and organs can be transported.
A module for first aid communication and telemedicine consultations has been integrated into the drone. Its flight range is 400 km. Currently, "Aist" is used in the Sakhalin Region, and previously it flew in Yugra.
