"Russo-Balt" Showcased a Stainless Steel Electric Crossover: 550 hp, All-Wheel Drive, and Panoramic Roof

Manufacturers promise the body won't rust

The Perm-based company "Russo-Balt" has revealed the specifications and price of its C55 electric crossover. The body is made of stainless steel, eliminating the issue of through corrosion, and the basic equipment for 8 million rubles includes two electric motors with a total output of 550 horsepower and all-wheel drive.

The standard configuration includes a panoramic roof, double side windows, 20-inch forged wheels, leather seats with heating and ventilation, LED optics, and a 15-inch touchscreen multimedia display with surround-view cameras. The audio system features 8 speakers and a subwoofer, while auxiliary electronics include tire pressure sensors and ambient interior lighting. The car comes with a 3-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty, and the traction battery has a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage.

Optional features include a four-motor powertrain with 1000 horsepower, air suspension, a rear steering axle, and a four-seat interior with individual seats. Test drives are promised by the end of summer 2026, with deliveries starting in 2027.

With a price of 8 million rubles, the C55 enters a segment currently dominated by Chinese electric crossovers.
