Moscow-type ships of project R-51 did not start their routes due to bad weather

Moscow authorities have postponed the opening of ferry routes from the Northern River Terminal to Khimki and Yuzhnoye Tushino due to snowfall. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport.

Due to weather conditions, the launch of ferry routes from the Northern River Terminal to Zakharovo and Khimki is postponed. We will announce the start of operations additionally.

Moscow Deputy Mayor Maxim Liksutov stated earlier that the ferry routes were supposed to start operating on April 27. They are served by "Moskva" type ships (project R-51).

However, according to forecasters, snow with rain is expected all day on Monday. Such weather conditions will persist until April 28.
