The Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, purchased the first copy of the Volga K50 crossover even before the official start of sales. He was satisfied with the characteristics of the car.
Nikitin noted that the crossover turned out to be spacious, dynamic and comfortable.
I bought the car before the official start of sales in order to evaluate it and give recommendations for further localization.
The Governor emphasized the importance of the project for the region — it is about creating new jobs, developing the component base and expanding the auto cluster in Nizhny Novgorod.
The revived Volga brand was launched in 2026. The lineup includes the C50 sedan and the K40 i K50 crossovers. Production was organized on the basis of cooperation with Chinese partners with the adaptation of models to the Russian market.
The official start of sales of Volga cars is scheduled for the summer of 2026.
