The diplomat added that Russia will soon complete the supply of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to India under a 2018 contract. According to him, several batches are to be transferred, but Alipov did not disclose the number of complexes.

Aviation expert Roman Gusarov explained to "First Technical" why the localization of Su-57 production in India will be beneficial for Russia.

Indian media noted that the republic's authorities are in no hurry to sign a contract for the localization of the production of these combat aircraft and are waiting for a detailed report on the cost of such a project from the Russian side against the background of parallel interest in the French Rafale.
