Nearly 12.7 million people in Russia are already communicating with management companies through Max home chats. Such data was provided by the Ministry of Construction.
Since the end of 2025, this format has become mandatory: management companies, utility services, and waste disposal operators must communicate with residents through such chats. As a result, the innovation affected almost a million apartment buildings across the country.
In a short time, more than 539 thousand chats were created in Max, mainly for houses with more than 16 apartments. Now the authorities want to increase user activity: in 2026, they plan to increase the daily audience of the service to 7 million people.
The next step is to add new features. Management companies want to be allowed to launch their own services directly within Max, as well as connect chatbots. They will be able to automatically notify residents about water outages, the need to submit meter readings, and other household matters.
Previously, such chats appeared in different messengers and most often worked informally: one of the residents took on the role of mediator between the house and the management company. Now the system is being made centralized, with the participation of housing inspections and the official connection of all participants.
