As part of a working visit to the Primorsky Territory, a check of the construction site of Artyomovskaya TPP-2 was carried out. Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, together with the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako, assessed the progress of the construction of the new energy facility. Currently, Artyomovskaya TPP-2 is 67% ready, and all work is carried out in strict accordance with the established plan.
About 2 thousand people work at the site and 96 units of equipment are involved. Commissioning works on this equipment are scheduled for the summer period. The installation of 3 peak hot water boilers is in the final stage, which will heat the network water after the steam cycle to cover peak heating loads.
Energy builders are completing the installation of the main and auxiliary equipment at the first combined cycle gas turbine unit. In the near future, gas turbine and steam turbines for the second unit will arrive at the site.
In parallel, work is actively underway on the 220/110 kV open switchgear: the cable overpass from the main building has already been installed, supports and portals have been installed, the 110 kV equipment has been fully installed, and the 220 kV work is approaching the finish line. The pipeline system of the heating network with a length of 2.5 kilometers on each of the four lines is ready for commissioning.
The construction of Artyomovskaya TPP-2 started in September 2023 at the site of the Eastern Economic Forum. The new station will increase the capacity of the existing Artyomovskaya TPP, which will be 90 years old in 2026.
The design electrical capacity of the facility is 440 MW, thermal capacity is 456 Gcal/h.
