The Governor of the Primorsky Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako, announced that the Artyomovskaya TPP-2 is planned to be commissioned before the end of this year.
According to the official, these are the deadlines set by the builders of the strategically important facility. The new station will provide heat to residents of the Artyomovsky district and high-quality electricity to consumers in the south of Primorye, including the city of Artyom.
The station will use highly efficient combined cycle gas turbine technology with domestic gas turbines from "Power Machines". Two GTE-170.1 turbines of high power are provided for Artyomovskaya TPP-2.
The head of the region also noted that the construction of two new power units at the Partizanskaya GRES is continuing in parallel.
Earlier, RusHydro began construction of the Artyomovskaya TPP-2 with a design capacity of 440 MW. The completion of the work was originally planned for 2026. Now the deadlines have been clarified: the facility should start operating before the end of 2026.
