The crew of the multipurpose second-rank corvette "Soobrazitelny" (Project 20380) took part in an anti-submarine exercise in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Baltic Fleet.

The corvette's crew, supported by Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopters of the Baltic Fleet's naval aviation, detected an "enemy" submarine using radar and sonar equipment. Then the sailors used standard weapons to destroy the target.

In addition to anti-submarine operations, the ship's crew practiced tasks to search for and destroy floating mines, and performed exercises to set up electronic countermeasures.

In addition, the artillery crew of "Soobrazitelny" fired at aerial targets. The Baltic sailors conducted training in biological protection and damage control (a set of actions in case of an accident).

The corvette "Soobrazitelny" was laid down at the Northern Shipyard in St. Petersburg in 2003. It was transferred to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2011. The cost of building the ship was estimated at 10 billion rubles.

The corvette's aviation group is represented by a Ka-27PL helicopter and an "Orlan-10" UAV, which is located in the deck hangar. The ship is also equipped with missile and torpedo weapons.
