A shipborne search and strike group consisting of corvettes "Soobrazitelny" and "Boiky" of Project 20380 carried out a set of measures with the aim of destroying a mock enemy ship located in one of the areas of the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
When the target approached the firing line, the corvette crews carried out artillery firing at a large naval shield that simulated a mock enemy ship. Objective control means showed a 100 percent hit on the target.
The basic armament of Project 20380 corvettes includes — a "Caliber" or "Yakhont" strike anti-ship complex, A-190 100 mm caliber artillery gun, two Kashtan-M anti-aircraft missile and gun complexes for missile defense, as well as a Ka-27 type deck helicopter.
The ships are designed to detect and destroy enemy submarines and surface ships, provide landing support, and solve tasks in the near sea zone.
