Searching to the Last Crumb: AI in Yandex Maps Now Knows the Composition of Every Dish in the City

The service takes into account the menu, ratings, and mentions in reviews to provide an accurate result

Yandex Maps has introduced a new level of search: now AI selects places not just by name or rating, but according to specific desires—down to a dish on the menu or a desired service.

Want risotto near Paveletskaya? Just type it in the chat—the neural network will go through the menus of establishments, user reviews, and even photos. As a result, it will only show those restaurants where this dish actually exists, and explain why it chose them: with prices, ratings, and details.

If a dish is not listed on the menu but often appears in reviews, the AI will also take this into account and honestly warn you.

After that, the service immediately displays everything on the map—you can quickly understand what is closer, where it is more convenient to stop by, or where there is less of a detour along the way.

The same logic works for services: you can search for salons by specific procedures such as hardware manicure or massage, and clinics—by tests and examinations.

In fact, the search turns from "show a list" to "find exactly what I need—and explain why."
