At the Novocherkassk plant "TMH-ElectroTech", the thousandth traction electric motor DTA-380U1 was assembled for Ivolga 4.0 electric trains. The enterprise, which is part of "TMH-Energetic Solutions", fully mastered the serial production of these asynchronous motors in 2023. Previously, such critical components were supplied from abroad.
Now the units are made from Russian components. "TMH-ElectroTech" was the first in the country to receive a certificate of compliance with the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union for domestic traction electric motors for electric trains. The products were included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In terms of characteristics, the DTA-380U1 is not inferior to the best foreign analogues. The engines provide acceleration of the "Ivolga" to 160 km/h, reduce energy consumption and significantly increase the intervals between maintenance.
To increase production, a specialized assembly section was launched at the plant in 2025. The new line is equipped with modern equipment, which made it possible to optimize processes and strengthen quality control at each stage. The modernization project was supported by the Industrial Development Fund - part of the funds were issued in the form of a loan.
