The federal budget will allocate 500 million rubles for the development of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Titanium Valley" in the Sverdlovsk region. The funds will be directed to infrastructure, and part of the region will invest in projects of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA).
The regional government will buy out shares of the SEZ for 500 million rubles at the expense of a federal subsidy. This mechanism will allow not to return the funds if the development deadlines are postponed. The money will compensate for the costs of creating infrastructure. In particular, it is planned to increase the power supply capacity at the site in Verkhnyaya Salda.
In total, the Sverdlovsk region will receive 1.3 billion rubles from the federal budget for the infrastructure of the site from 2025 to 2027. 467 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget this year. These funds will be used to repay interest and principal debt on loans for the creation of a production complex on the territory of UZGA.
In January 2026, it became known that UZGA received an order for the first hundred LMS-901 "Baikal" aircraft. We are talking about leasing deliveries with state support.
