At the construction site of the El Dabaa NPP, workers installed a bubbler inside the reactor building of the first power unit. The element is part of the pressure compensation system of the primary circuit. The equipment takes and condenses steam from the compensator. The device operates both in normal mode and in case of possible failures.
The Russian enterprise "ZiO-Podolsk" manufactured a unit weighing over 15 tons. The length of the structure is 8 meters, and the height is 4 meters. To lift heavy equipment, installers used a tower crane. The work was supervised by the site manager Alexey Maksimov.
The installation of the bubbler became a key stage in the construction of the building. Now the builders are reinforcing the floor slab at a height of 14.5 meters. Next, they will install the pipelines of the pressure compensation system.
As a reminder, on March 10, 2026, specialists at the NPP installed a support truss inside the concrete shaft. The equipment is responsible for the stability of the installation and protects the equipment from weight and earthquakes.
