The State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) supplied "Mostransavto" with 9 medium-class VOLGABUS 429804 buses under the preferential leasing program. This was reported by the company's press service.
Renewing the bus fleet plays an important role in ensuring comfortable, environmentally friendly, and safe urban transport in Russian regions.
Russian President Vladimir Putin set the task of increasing the share of the public transport fleet operating within its standard service life to 85%. For medium-class buses, it is 7 years. In commercial operation, this period may reach 10 years or more provided regular maintenance is carried out.
Buses of the VOLGABUS 4298 series run on liquefied natural gas (LNG) or compressed natural gas (CNG). Modern engines and an automatic transmission ensure a smooth ride.
