Analysts at Avito Rabota studied salary offers for engineers last winter and found out which industries pay them the most. The leader of the ranking was industrial and infrastructure construction — here specialists were offered an average of 100,147 rubles per month.

In second place is the production of non-food consumer goods (98,464 rubles), followed by the construction of residential and commercial properties (97,989 rubles).

The demand for engineers grew the most in the oil and gas sector: the number of vacancies increased by 151% compared to the winter of 2024–2025. In the food industry, the increase was 52%, in the energy sector — 48%.

The growing demand for engineers in industry and the extractive sector indicates a structural trend: business is investing in production assets and infrastructure, and engineering competencies are becoming a key factor in the sustainability and technological development of companies.
