The Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) has filed an appeal in court regarding the case of recovering funds in favor of the company "Additive Technologies" — an integrator of the Rosatom State Corporation. The dispute is related to the supply of equipment in 2024.
Under the agreement, UZGA received a complex with installments until December 31, 2025, at 20.25% per annum. The total cost of the main equipment, including interest, amounted to 159.8 million rubles, and additional equipment — 530 thousand. Installation and commissioning were completed in the fall of 2024.
However, UZGA was unable to pay on time and did not respond to letters and claims. By the summer of 2025, UZGA's debt reached 96.4 million rubles, of which 95.9 million was for the main equipment.
The supplier also claimed a penalty of 10.5 million. The court of first instance satisfied the claims and ordered the recovery of more than 106 million rubles. UZGA disagreed with the decision and sought consideration of the case on appeal.
Additive technologies allow the production of parts and components that are difficult to manufacture using traditional methods involving casting and machining.
UZGA is the manufacturer of the light regional aircraft "Baikal". According to the plan, the LMS-901 project will replace the outdated An-2. Designer Alexander Silin noted that "Baikal" surpasses Soviet machines in speed and fuel efficiency.
At the end of February, the fifth prototype of "Baikal" successfully made its first test flight at the airfield in the Sverdlovsk region.
