From March, the Tutaevsky Motor Plant (part of the KAMAZ PJSC structure) will begin production of a new product — a block and tackle. This device is designed to double the traction capabilities of a car winch, the company said.
As Vladimir Shchanikov, Chief Engineer of PJSC TMZ, explained, the product will be used with winches with a force of 20 to 30 tons. The block and tackle will allow the efficient use of equipment in the most difficult conditions — where standard effort may not be enough.
The development was carried out in 2025: engineers studied existing analogues produced in Russia and the world, and created their own design, convenient for operation. The prototype was tested in a laboratory in Yaroslavl, and then as part of a car. Following the tests, the novelty was recommended for mass production. Mass production of the product will begin in March directly on the assembly line.
