A new modification of the KAMAZ-65951 vehicle – a chassis for placing a concrete mixer – was assembled on the main assembly line of the Kama Automobile Plant. The model belongs to the K5 generation and is designed for installation of 12 cubic meter mixers, the company's press service reported.
The main difference between the chassis modification for placing a concrete mixer and the basic configuration of the KAMAZ-65951 dump truck is the presence of a power take-off mechanism from the engine, which drives the mixing drum. The new product has an increased rear overhang of the frame, which allows placing a superstructure for a 12 cubic meter mixer, as well as truck tires designed for heavy loads.
The car is equipped with a KAMAZ P6 engine with a capacity of 460 horsepower. The 8x4 wheel formula provides stability in difficult areas. The chassis payload is 35 tons.
An experienced sample will be sent for testing to the Scientific and Technical Center. In the future, such concrete mixers will appear at construction sites in Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
