Authorities have approved targets for digital development and growth of manufacturing industries until 2030. According to the approved guidelines, at least 80% of Russian enterprises will have to switch to domestic software. For companies with state participation, the bar is set even higher — 95%.

In parallel with software import substitution, the industry has been set an ambitious task: the volume of production in the manufacturing industries by 2030 should increase by at least 40% compared to the level of 2022.

Earlier, Reuters reported that the decline in Russian industry slowed down, but layoffs rose to their highest since June 2025. The situation with international sales deteriorated: the number of new export orders in February 2026 decreased faster than in January.
