Обновление «Северной верфи» начнут в конце 2025 года

The shipyard will change the size of slipway berths and docks

The United Shipbuilding Corporation intends to begin work on modernizing "Severnaya Verf" by the end of next year. According to USC CEO Andrey Puchkov, an "absolutely new shipyard" will be created.

We have now entered the design phase, and we expect the full project to be ready in the first half of next year. We plan to start construction, if everything goes without delays, at the end of next year.

The plans for "Severnaya Verf" include modernizing slipway berths, expanding docks, and automating production. This will increase production capacity by more than tenfold.

The cost of the project will be determined after its completion. According to preliminary estimates by the United Shipbuilding Corporation, investments in the project will amount to hundreds of billions of rubles.

As a reminder, "Severnaya Verf" was founded on November 14, 1912. Over the years, the company has built about 400 military and civilian vessels. Today, "Severnaya Verf" is one of the leading shipbuilding enterprises in St. Petersburg and is part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation.

Throughout its history, "Severnaya Verf" has undergone extensive modernization, resulting in the creation of a complex of unique facilities and production processes.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that USC needs more than 1 trillion rubles to complete the construction of ships. The main reason for the deficit is that the cost of producing ships is higher than the contract prices.
