The new platform received an armored cab to protect the crew, a maximum speed of 80 km/h, and a cruising range of up to 1,000 km.

The combat vehicles are already being used by crews of the 244th Artillery Brigade of the 11th Army Corps of the Leningrad Military District.

The 9K57 "Uragan" multiple launch rocket system is a Soviet/Russian 220 mm MLRS adopted for service in 1975. It is designed to destroy manpower, armored vehicles, artillery and mortar batteries, command posts, communications hubs, and other important enemy targets at a depth of up to 35 km (when using standard unguided rockets).
