PJSC "KamAZ" has launched a new truck-mounted tank vehicle on the KAMAZ-65658 chassis of the new K5 generation. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.
The new product is designed for transporting and short-term storage of drinking water. The model is based on a modern three-axle chassis, which is suitable for installing various superstructures.
The car is equipped with a comfortable cabin with a sleeping compartment and good visibility, an economical KAMAZ engine with a capacity of 390 hp, as well as a robotic twelve-speed gearbox.
The KAMAZ-65658 chassis is equipped with a 6x2 wheel formula and a lifting rear axle. This improves load capacity, fuel efficiency and vehicle maneuverability. The rear axles are equipped with air suspension for a smooth ride.
The tank volume is 13 m³. It is made in the form of a horizontal tank with a thermal insulation layer and a "suitcase" shape. The inner shell is made of high-quality 12X18H10 food-grade stainless steel with a thickness of 3 mm, which guarantees the preservation of all the properties of drinking water. The outer shell, made of carbon steel with a thickness of 1.5-2 mm, with a wear-resistant coating, provides the necessary rigidity and durability of the structure.
For uninterrupted operation in all climatic conditions, a tank heating system is provided, which uses the exhaust gases of the chassis and an electric heating element at 220 V during parking.
Earlier www1.ru reported that KamAZ, against the background of huge losses, found a foreign partnership for 600 million rubles.
