The K5 generation KAMAZ-54901 (4x2) truck tractor was tested in real conditions in Novosibirsk. During the month-long test, the vehicle covered 44,000 kilometers, performing transportation on the "Moscow-Vladivostok-Moscow" route.
At the end of the tests, the road carrier shared a positive review of the high-tech truck tractor. The efficiency of the new six-cylinder in-line KAMAZ engine with a capacity of 482 hp and a working volume of 13 liters was noted.
The average fuel consumption was 28.5 liters. In this parameter, the car is as good as trucks of well-known European brands and surpasses other foreign brands currently represented on the Russian market, the consumption of which, for comparison, is at least 33 liters. In addition, our driver appreciated the advantages of the KAMAZ-54901 cab, including its large size and comfort, which is especially important when transporting goods over long distances.
KAMAZ-54901 has become the flagship of the Russian cargo automotive industry, combining advanced technologies and innovative solutions. Thanks to modern design developments, the service interval has been increased to 120 thousand kilometers, and the engine life reaches 1.5 million kilometers. At the same time, fuel consumption is reduced by 10% compared to previous models, which makes it more economical and efficient for transportation.
