An unusual photo of a special modification of the Mi-8MNP helicopter belonging to the Russian FSB, which is equipped with advanced equipment for performing complex tasks at any time of the day, has been published online.
The rotorcraft impresses with its technical arsenal, combining advanced surveillance, protection and weapons systems.
The photo clearly shows two GOES-342 observation and sighting systems, providing high-precision reconnaissance and guidance. The helicopter is equipped with a modern radar station (radar) for detecting targets in difficult conditions, as well as the latest onboard defense system (BKO), which protects against threats of various types.
Particular attention is drawn to the possibility of using guided missiles, including "product 305" - a light multi-purpose guided missile designed to engage ground and air targets. The vehicle is adapted for round-the-clock use, which makes it indispensable in operations with increased requirements for reliability and versatility.
