The new regional aircraft Il-114-300 has aroused interest among a large number of countries, but the primary task of the domestic industry is to saturate its own market. This was stated by the Managing Director of Ilyushin, Daniil Brenerman.
According to him, the country currently operates a fairly large fleet of regional aircraft, which needs to be replaced. The only one in this class is the Il-114-300.
The aircraft is, in fact, of interest to a large number of our foreign partners.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev reported that the first contracts with airlines for the supply of Il-114-300 are expected by the end of February this year - February 23.
In January, the Il-114-300 took part in an international exhibition in India, where UAC concluded a contract for the supply of the first six aircraft with the local company Flamingo Aerospace.
