New 6-speed manual transmissions (MTs), manufactured by PJSC "Sollers", intended for UAZ cars, have begun to arrive in auto parts stores. So far, such units are installed only on rear-wheel drive UAZ "Profi" trucks, but in the near future they are planned to be installed on other models, including the popular "Patriot".
The cost of the new gearbox manufactured by the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant (ZMZ) ranges from 205 to 210 thousand rubles. This price is comparable to the MTs of the Korean brand Dymos. Previously, they were used on UAZ cars.
The new 6-speed "mechanics" is a localized version of the Chinese JAC LC6T32 transmission, which is also used on Sollers trucks.
