Sollers has commissioned new presses for assembling the intermediate shaft of 6-speed manual transmissions. These transmissions will soon be installed on the updated UAZ "Profi". At the end of this year, the UAZ "Patriot" will receive a similar gearbox.
The intermediate shaft is one of the key components of the manual transmission, which guarantees the reliability of the unit. Three new units of pressing equipment will ensure high accuracy in pressing the components of the intermediate shaft - synchronizers and gears, automate the technological process, which will positively affect the quality of gearboxes for Sollers light commercial vehicles.
The production of 6-speed manual transmissions has been carried out at the "SOLLERS Production of Transmissions" plant since February 2024.
