20 high-performance five-axis modern processing centers have been put into operation at the V. P. Chkalov Aviation Plant in Novosibirsk. This was reported by the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec).
UAC emphasized that the large-scale work on organizing new production sites was carried out as part of a comprehensive program for the development of the aviation industry until 2030.
As a reminder, the Chkalov Aviation Plant is building fuselage sections, empennage, and other units for the import-substituted version of the SJ-100, aircraft kits and blocks for the MC-21-310.
The company's military products include modernized generation 4++ Su-34M fighters.
