The domestically produced MS-21-310 medium-haul aircraft completed the longest flight in its history during certification tests. This was reported by PAO \"Yakovlev\" (part of Rostec's United Aircraft Corporation).
The team is returning from the longest MS-21 flight during the testing period. Its duration was 7 hours 7 minutes.
The corporation did not specify exactly what distance the airliner covered during this time.
Rostec head Sergey Chemezov announced the key timeline — certification of the MS-21 is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.
Earlier, www1.ru wrote that the MS-21 glass successfully withstood a bird strike at a speed of more than 600 km/h. Not even a trace was left on the surface.
