The Russian SJ-100, with a passenger capacity of 100 people, can be considered the best offering in the world in this segment. This was stated by SuperJet Program Director Alexander Dolotovsky.
He recalled that the airliner was specifically designed for use in regional markets.
As of today, it was and remains the best offering in the 100-seat aircraft segment.
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized that the SJ-100 does not depend on foreign components and is assembled entirely at Russian facilities.
The "Superjet-100" is a narrow-body short-haul aircraft designed to operate flights at distances of up to 5,000 km. Let us recall that the SJ-100 became the first mass-produced civilian aircraft created in Russia after the collapse of the USSR.
