40 Parts from the USA, Switzerland, and Taiwan with Starlink Found in Russian "Italmas" Kamikaze Drones

Thanks to American modules, the connection with the operator remains uninterrupted

No less than 40 foreign-made components were found in the Russian BM-35 Italmas kamikaze drones. This was reported by military analyst Yuri Podolyaka.

The parts are supplied from China, Taiwan, the USA, and Switzerland. The analyst noted that the parts for drones are standard electronics that are available on the world market; they are simply purchased and integrated into products.

In the context of formal technological pressure, Russia is still able to build sustainable supply chains, assemble complex systems, and scale production.

It was previously reported that Italmas drones began to be equipped with Starlink satellite communication modules for uninterrupted communication with the operator. If earlier the range of the BM-35 was limited to ground-based antennas or repeaters, now the operator can adjust the flight and select a target in real time.

As a reminder, the Italmas is built according to the "flying wing" scheme. The BM-35 is equipped with an internal combustion engine, the estimated flight range is 200 km, and the mass of the warhead is 50 kg.
