Russian engineers have developed a new drone net gun "Pauk-30B" with a fast reloading function of up to 10 seconds and an improved design. The product will be delivered to the military next month, representatives of the developer company NPO "Polet" said.
The company noted that the "Pauk" cartridge is now disposable, so there is no need to think about reloading.
If the previous version was made in the shape of a cone, now it is made in the form of a magazine. The new net gun will begin to be tested in February.
In addition, during the modernization, it was possible to reduce the recoil from the shot thanks to the well-developed gas dynamics. The product itself has become cheaper - for the same cost, a fighter now receives not four shots, but six.
Prior to that, Russia also developed a net gun with a range of up to 45 meters with machine vision and a video system.
