The Russian company "Orda-Pilot" has created a new complex with a video system with machine vision and a device for throwing a net. It is designed to protect military and civilian equipment from drones.
The developers said that the video system monitors a certain sector and identifies aerial targets.
Then, upon detecting a drone, the net throwing device turns towards the potential aggressor and fires a net.
The company clarified that the maximum firing range with the net is 45 m, but the targeting range is even less — about 30 m.
The serial production of the net gun is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian army received new "Kornets" and "Krasnopol-M2".
