Specialists from a Russian workshop have built an unusual motorhome on a three-axle KAMAZ-43118 chassis, equipping it with everything necessary for a comfortable stay away from civilization — including a wood-burning stove-fireplace with long burning, which is rare for mobile homes.
The living module, measuring 6.4 × 2.4 × 2 meters, has a well-thought-out interior layout: there is a full-fledged living room, a separate bedroom, a kitchen area and a compact but functional bathroom with a shower cabin.
The living room has a U-shaped sofa-transformer, which can be used as an additional sleeping place if necessary. The bedroom is equipped with a spacious bed with an orthopedic mattress and spacious wardrobes for storing things.
The kitchen set is made with a natural stone countertop and includes a gas stove, a 140-liter refrigerator and a microwave oven. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, a bio-toilet, an electric heated towel rail and a clothes dryer.
The autonomy of the motorhome is provided by an energy system based on traction batteries with a total capacity of 800 A·h, which are recharged from solar panels. A diesel heater and a floor-standing air conditioner are additionally installed. The fresh water supply is designed for 400 liters. However, the main highlight of the project was the wood-burning stove-fireplace — a solution that is extremely rare in mobile homes due to the difficulties with installation, ventilation and fire safety.
According to the developers, the stove not only creates a cozy atmosphere, but also effectively heats the entire cabin even in harsh climates, which makes this motorhome especially attractive for traveling in remote regions of Russia.
