The Governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, published unique footage of the combat use of the laser air defense (air defense) system of the "Nomad" detachment. The footage shows how the system accurately destroys aircraft-type drones.
Then you can see the results of the work — the collapsed drones with burnt wings and fuselage. The preliminary range of the "Nomad" is up to 2 km.
As a reminder, the company LaserBazz is also working on creating an innovative laser air defense system as part of the "Posokh" project.
During the tests, the laser burned through a model of a typical FPV drone battery at a distance of 500 m in one second, demonstrating high reaction speed and accuracy.
Such systems can significantly enhance protection against small and fast drones. First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov noted that their use will become more active in the near future, as production volumes increase.
