The nose section of an Ilyushin Il-76K military transport aircraft with tail number USSR-86638 has been put up for sale in Perm. The cost of the object is 875 thousand rubles, the advertisement was placed on one of the trading platforms.
The Il-76 aircraft modification was converted for cosmonaut training. Only three such aircraft were built.
Specifically, this aircraft participated in tests and training flights, including those for the benefit of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.
The cabin is 13.2 meters long, 4.8 m wide, 4.2 m high, and weighs about 6 tons. The original Aeroflot livery has been preserved on the outside.
The nose section of the aircraft can be used to create exhibitions, decorate photo and film studios, museums and interactive zones.
