The STM company has presented the cabin of the new RSHP 2.0 rail grinding train — the first unified module in its product line, developed based on the cabin of the 2TE35A main line locomotive. The solution provides up to 92% structural compatibility, laying the foundation for reducing costs and accelerating the introduction of technology to the market.

Thanks to this approach, engineers expect a significant reduction in production costs and acceleration of the release of new special equipment.

From the basic locomotive platform, the RSHP 2.0 inherited not only advanced technical solutions, but also the well-thought-out ergonomics of the driver's workplace: the optimal layout of the control panel, the rational distribution of space, and a modern interior, already tested in operation on main line locomotives.
