The Chelyabinsk Higher Tank Command School (CVTKU) will resume operations after a 19-year hiatus. The educational institution will be relaunched in 2026 as part of the expansion of the military education system.
The decision fits into the long-term program of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the development of military education until 2034. During this period, the department plans to create 15 new military universities. As a reminder, the Chelyabinsk Tank School was disbanded in 2007.
