In the fall of 2025, Ulyanovsk Oblast will begin training senior students of long-range and military transport aviation at the facilities of the former technical school. This was announced by the head of the region, Aleksey Russkikh.
According to him, this became possible thanks to agreements with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In total, more than 300 cadets and teaching staff will arrive in the region.
The guys are currently undergoing flight practice. Our task is to ensure that next year, after accreditation, the educational institution receives the status of the Ulyanovsk Higher Military School for Training VTA Pilots.
Russkikh added that he discussed issues related to the training of cadets, the economic part, as well as further prospects for the development of the school with the Deputy Head of the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots, Vyacheslav Tabachenko.
