The Russian Ministry of Defense has for the first time shown footage of combat vehicles from the complex with a medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) "Oreshnik". The recording captured the preparation of the crews for combat patrol in Belarus.
The video shows several vehicles, apparently on a four-axle MZKT-7930 chassis. These may be mobile command posts or transport-loading vehicles. The launchers themselves, which are of the greatest interest, were not shown in the frame.
As a reminder, the mobile ground complex "Oreshnik" carries an MRBM with a range of 5.5 thousand kilometers. The missile received a separable warhead, the blocks of which attack the target at a speed of about 10 Mach numbers, "Oreshnik" cannot be destroyed by any existing air defense systems.
The systems have already gone on combat duty in Belarus. President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko claimed that the complex was half built in Belarus, but the missile itself is Russian.
Also, earlier the deputy head of the General Staff faculty of the Military Academy of Belarus, Andrei Bogodel, for the first time revealed the configuration of "Oreshnik".
