Board No. 73057 climbed to a height of 12,100 m

During certification, the new domestic import-substituted MC-21-310 aircraft with domestic PD-14 engines accelerated to a ground speed of 1026 km/h. This was reported by the analytical blog "Flying Together."

It should be emphasized that ground speed is the actual speed of the aircraft relative to the ground; it consists of the vessel's own speed and the wind speed.

In other words, if the wind is a tailwind, the ground speed is higher, and the aircraft flies faster relative to the ground. If the wind is a headwind, the ground speed is lower.
