Russia has sent two new multirole Su-30SM2 fighters to Belarus. Footage of the fourth-generation combat aircraft has appeared online.
A pair of Su-30SM2s were photographed at Novosibirsk's Tolmachevo Airport during an intermediate landing for refueling.
The commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the republic, Andrei Lukyanovich, reported that by the end of the year Belarus will receive another batch of Su-30SM2s from Russia. He did not specify the exact number of aircraft.
As a reminder, Russia last supplied Belarus with a batch of Su-30SM2s back in August 2025. The sale of the aircraft is part of the military-technical cooperation between the countries.
For export Su-30SM2s, the range of application has been expanded for aviation weapons - guided and unguided missiles, bombs with UMPC.
