S. P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia (part of Roscosmos) has secured the recovery of almost 42 million rubles from the Perm-based rocket engine manufacturer Proton-PM. The decision on the dispute was made by the Arbitration Court of the Perm Territory.
The defendant will pay 34.589 million rubles of principal debt, as well as 6.548 million rubles of penalties and 780 thousand rubles of legal costs.
Initially, the corporation claimed 54.589 million rubles. The dispute arose from a debt under an agreement concluded on February 16, 2023.
It is worth recalling that Proton-PM has been producing the PS-90A power plant thrust reverser module for Il-96 and Tu-214 aircraft, often used in government flights, since 2022.
The company also produces RD-191 units for Angara launch vehicles and RD-276 first-stage engines for heavy Proton-M rockets.
