Engine builders "ODK-Kuznetsov" failed to win a lawsuit against "Tupolev": what's next for the engine manufacturer?

The Arbitration Court of Moscow dismissed the claim of PJSC "ODK-Kuznetsov" from Samara against the aircraft manufacturing company PJSC "Tupolev". The plaintiff's claims amounted to more than 425 million rubles. This information was published in the file of arbitration cases.

From April 2025, legal proceedings began between the Samara enterprise and PJSC "Tupolev". The reasons for the claim were not disclosed. Since July, the hearings have been held behind closed doors due to the presence in the materials of "information constituting a state secret and other data affecting the security of the state".

"ODK — Kuznetsov" specializes in the production of gas turbine and rocket engines. The plant annually produces 20 units of RD-107A and RD-108A liquid engines for Soyuz family launch vehicles.
