Reinforced concrete shelters for aircraft of operational-tactical and strategic aviation have been erected at the airfields of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). This was reported by the Telegram channel "Russian weapons".
Analyst Evgeny Damantsev noted that covered metal parking lots were also erected on the taxiways of airfields.
All tactical aviation has been removed from the open air. Thus, the VKS eliminates vulnerability to swarms of strike drones.
Prior to this, a photo with a Su-35S fighter in a hangar, but without deepening into the ground, went viral on the Web. Apparently, the structure is assembled from modular elements, which allows you to quickly deploy them at airfields.
Retired military pilot, blogger Fighterbomber also published a diagram of anti-drone prefabricated hangars made of metal chain-link mesh, metal cables and profiles.
