"Smart" gas meters have begun to be installed in industrial and budgetary organizations, as well as in retail outlets in Dagestan. This was announced by Rizvan Muradov, General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Makhachkala.
The "STM-100" program has been launched in the republic, under which organizations are provided with free installation of smart gas meters equipped with a telemetry module. Since November, such devices have been implemented at 600 facilities, he added.
Advantages of new generation meters:
- accuracy of gas flow measurement
- absence of errors
- increased consumer confidence
Automatic data transmission eliminates the need for manual readings, and remote monitoring allows for prompt detection of malfunctions.
The company plans to introduce digital technologies to improve the quality of gas supply in Dagestan. The "STM-100" program provides for 100% connection of consumers to the system by 2030.
