Aurus, the company developing a business jet project under the Russian brand, has once again changed its head. Kirill Degusarov, formerly Director of Production, has been appointed Acting General Director of Aurus LLC. This is the second rotation in the position of General Director since the beginning of autumn: in September, this position was taken by Andrey Boginsky, who previously headed PJSC Yakovlev.
According to a number of sources, Boginsky's departure from Yakovlev was due to unsatisfactory results in the implementation of the civil aviation program. At the same time, no such assessments were received about Degusarov. His career includes experience in the Russian division of Ford, as well as in the companies "Renera", "Ruskhim" and the management company "Global Ports".
As a reminder, as part of the implementation of the Aurus-Aero project in the Ulyanovsk Port Special Economic Zone (PSEZ), it is planned to deploy the production of new Russian business jets based on the Soviet Tu-324 design, although the head of the region did not specify the technical details of the initiative.
